So, I spent some hammock time thinking and decided that I should be brave again. I need to stop thinking and start doing, right?
Ultimately, in my quest to make things less weird, I managed to make everything weirder. The more I tried to babble my way through the conversation, the more I realized I was turning a barely weird situation into something completely awkward.
The only thing to do at this point is to flush the phone down the toilet to assure I will not attempt any further bravery.
