Today I had a lunch date with my children. We used to have a weekly date night. But as they got older and their social life demands grew, the date nights became fewer and farther apartment. Today, we planned, we ate, we talked, and we laughed. The time that had passed did not matter. I think of how they have blossomed over the years. They have grown of heart and soul—and have become truly interesting people.
I am blessed.
